RSR - The sun rises on a new kind of reliability. | The RSR has been built with extreme environments in mind - both electrical and mechanical. Locations with high electric fields and electric discharges introduce noise onto signals, causing errors, resends and delays in data delivery. Further, excessive levels of shock, vibration or fluctuating temperature can cause fatigue in normal switches - the RSR is built for the task.
Available in two models - the RSR20 and the RSR30 which provides Gigabit uplink ports. A variety of Gigabit port types including twisted pair, SFP, combo, multimode and singlemode are available. The FAST-Ethernet (100Mbit/s) ports are available in twisted pair and SFP. (SFP ports are for the use of SFP modules to provide flexibility with fibre cable and termination choice. Combo ports provide both an SFP and twisted pair port to provide further flexibilty. Note that only one of the pair however may be used). Reliability Plus: - Metal Housing and shielding for extremely high EMI immunity.
- RSTP and HiPER-Ring redundancy.
- Extended temperature range -40deg C to +85 deg C.
- Redundant Power Supplies in two range options - 24/36/48Vdc, and 60/120/250Vdc with 110/230Vac. These can be mixed on the switch to provide a mix of DC and AC supplies.
Fully-Featured Managed Switch includes: - RSR20 - Up to 9 100Mbit/s ports
- RSR30 - Up to 3 Gigabit ports and 8 100Mbit/s ports
- Fully managed switch features including redundancy.
- Extended temperature range -40deg C to +85 deg C.
